 Found out about this band from Bob N . on 3 Songs Podcast . From the Netherlands, We Are Joiners produce a fuzzy, pop, early rock and roll, only youth can evoke, vibe the velvets birthed into the world. A weird cross between Neutral Milk Hotel and Buddy Holly. Sometimes it reminds me of playing tackle football on a snow-covered streets. And sometimes it reminds me of the smell of chlorine and noticing girls for the first time. Regardless, I envy the young bastards. God bless them. And I'll keep listening.  Hear/Listen

  Britta and I last saw Tom in December 2018 when I was in New York for a gig. We had a late lunch at an Italian restaurant in Chelsea (he lived nearby), and Tom talked about how the neighborhood had changed.
